The procedure combines an\u00a0analytical computation design method (analytical model)\u00a0with a numerical analysis by FEM (numerical model) using<br \/>\nQuickField or FEMM software. The analytical model has\u00a0two components, one considering the ideal coil (without iron\u00a0losses) and another component considering real coil (with\u00a0iron losses). The numerical model also has two components,\u00a0one magnetic (AC Magnetic Problem) which determines the\u00a0value of inductance and another component consisting of a\u00a0thermal model (Steady-State Heat Transfer Problem) which\u00a0determines the temperature distribution in the\u00a0electromagnetic device. In the magnetic model was<br \/>\nconsidered a constant permeability, but both software allow\u00a0a nonlinear computation.
