The best result is obtained if the\u00a0temperatures gradient inside the item is highest on the separation\u00a0surface. In the paper, considering a suddenly occurring\u00a0constant high temperature on the external cylindrical\u00a0surface of the homogeneous item, the shaft with the same\u00a0thermal diffusivity and neglecting the contact thermal resistance,\u00a0the transitory thermal field is analyzed and optimal\u00a0time for item removal is determined.
