During the test, the<br \/>\ncapacitive type of load impedance simulates an overhead\u00a0line or an underground cable that works with no load\u00a0impedance. The transient behaviour which appears at the<br \/>\nopening of electric circuits having capacitive load\u00a0impedance can determine the appearance of some\u00a0dangerous over-voltages for line, cables and equipments.\u00a0After testing, at the circuit interruption, it is possible to be\u00a0residual electrical charge on capacitors. This endangers the\u00a0lives of people who configures the test scheme. The paper<br \/>\ndescribes a device that monitors the voltage on the\u00a0capacitors that are connected to busbars and which alerts\u00a0the staff about the presence of electric charges remaining at<br \/>\nthe end of the test. A referral unit is mounted near the bars\u00a0to that are connected capacitors, while warning unit is\u00a0mounted in the place where can be observed by personnel\u00a0that configure the test schemes. Two variants of the device\u00a0are presented.
