The\u00a0sustained efforts being made in this direction are determined\u00a0by the benefits that simulation can provide and by\u00a0the development of software packages capable of performing\u00a0such simulations. It is obvious that mathematical modeling\u00a0followed by simulation allows the study of possible situations\u00a0that would be difficult to achieve in real systems and\u00a0could lead to an irremediable defect. If the mathematical\u00a0modeling of stationary processes with respect to time is\u00a0pretty well set, for the transient process simulation is still\u00a0much to study. The mathematical equations describing such\u00a0processes are generally of higher order, sometimes they are\u00a0transcendent, and thus harder to solve. In the paper the<br \/>\nauthors are concerned with the modeling of transient thermal\u00a0processes. When analyzing electrical heating systems,\u00a0the main problem occurs due to heat transfer through the<br \/>\nwalls. This phenomenon appears at multilayered cylindrical\u00a0walls, when heat is transferred through it, and a part of it is\u00a0stored into the wall as internal energy. This paper aims to\u00a0determine some mathematical relationships which describe\u00a0the heat storage processes in components with cylindrical\u00a0geometry. Determined mathematical equations will be used\u00a0furthermore in the modeling of transient thermal processes\u00a0in structures with cylindrical geometry.
