Abstract<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
This paper contains a review of the scientific\u00a0literature published till date in the field of power theory for\u00a0systems with periodic non-sinusoidal waveforms. Dynamic\u00a0increase in the number of installed nonlinear loads, that are\u00a0the sources of higher harmonics in current and voltage\u00a0waveforms, results in deterioration of electrical energy\u00a0parameters. Higher harmonics lead to corrupted current\u00a0and voltage waveforms, hence a much worsened energy\u00a0quality. The number of power theories and papers\u00a0concerning these issues give evidence about the importance\u00a0of the problems of working condition optimisation in power\u00a0systems.<\/td>\n\"images\"<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
