The created interface allows\u00a0the active filtering system simulation, choosing the compensation\u00a0mode. All these are necessary to plot the available\u00a0workspace variables and to assess the active filtering performance.\u00a0Moreover it displays the total harmonic distortion\u00a0values, for the load and grid current, and computes the\u00a0filtering efficiency The Simulink model was created for a<br \/>\nthree-phase non-sinusoidal voltage system, the current components\u00a0being computed using the Conservative Power Theory\u00a0elaborated by Paolo Tenti. The analyzed system contains\u00a0a three-phase full wave controlled rectifier with a passive\u00a0RL load. After the model simulation, the interface will\u00a0illustrate the grid current and voltage waveforms, before\u00a0and after the compensation, for both partial and total compensation.\u00a0The mentioned graphics, as well as the waveform\u00a0of the reactive current component, will make the user understand\u00a0the Active Power Filter (APF) functions, i.e. improving\u00a0the shape of the current absorbed from the power\u00a0grid and improving the power factor.
